Our History
Prentis Printing Solutions, Inc. opened in New London, Connecticut over 50 years ago to provide printing services to the local community. In the late 60's, John Prentis hired an ambitious young man named Bruce Burchsted. Through hard work and perseverance, Bruce became a key employee, and soon acquired the knowledge and experience needed to help manage the operation. By 1970, Bruce was ready to manage his own printing business, so John sponsored him in opening Prentis Printing Solutions, Inc. in Meriden, Connecticut.
Today, Bruce and his staff are proud of the reputation they have earned as one of Central Connecticut's most versatile printing companies. Since its opening the company has remained family owned and operated and now extends into the second generation. The entire Prentis Team enjoys the many longstanding client relationships developed over the years and looks forward to new and diverse customers and projects that will carry the business into the 21st century with continued success esfor the company and its clientele.
